Aranyak resort

About us

Aranyak

Your Passport to Wilderness

Aranyak is a well-known name in the field of rapidly progressive Wildlife Tourism in Central India. The group, which started its enterprise journey from the very famous Bandhavgarh National Park of Madhya Pradesh, is now also operational in Kanha National Park and is planning to expand its operations very soon in Pench and Sanjay Dubri National Parks of Madhya Pradesh.

Aranyak (āraṇyaka) literally means "produced, born, relating to a forest " or rather, "belonging to the wilderness". It is derived from the word Araṇya (आरण्य), which means "wilderness". Our lodges are located amidst the forested lands of jungle in and around nature. With two luxurious jungle lodges in Kanha and Bandhavgarh,it presents the very best of the Indian subcontinent wildlife & hospitality. Today Aranyak are run by a passionate team of wildlifers and hospitality professionals with a team of over 100 people committed to providing an incredible wildlife experience. The team includes naturalists, nature Guides, hospitality experts, trackers and a marketing team.

In the long run wildlife tourism serves the great purpose of wildlife conservation. Every day naturalists of Aranyak Resort interact with tourists. We wish to ignite the interest of today's youth in wildlife conservation and take them back to their roots. We conduct a lot of activities like Nature Walk, Cycle Tours in Forest Buffer, Village Visit and Organic Farm Tour in and around our property. These activities help in creating a lasting love for wildlife and nature in a huge number of tourists.

Aranyak relies on 100 percent local theory, out of 80 employees working in Aranyak Resorts all are local. They all come from the surrounding villages. The group recruits qualified employees and hires them after imparting training. In this way, this group is also doing the job of capacity building of the local youths. During the short period of its operations, this group has provided an employment of about 50,000 man days.

Aranyak Resort Bandhavgarh, very popular among its clients, has also provided examples in business operations. The safari lodges that serve the Tiger Reserve are usually built just beside the boundary of the Tiger Reserves. Negligence in operation jeopardizes the delicate balance of forests, wildlife and humans. We take our role as leaders in the wildlife sector very seriously and are committed to the wellbeing of locals and wildlife.
